A horrible cross-breed of a giant anaconda and a Green Dragon, the Dragon Serpent inhabits lonely swamps and dismal fens, seeking to feed on the unwary. The Dragon Serpent has three forms of attack: a poisonous bite which while low in damage is
particularly noxious, and a Save versus Poison must be made at -2 or else death is immediate!
The second form of attack is a crushing attack with it's coils. If the Dungeon Master rolls a 20 on the Dragon Serpent's attack, the target is caught within the monster's coils and crushed for 4-12 points of damage every round until dead or rescued! Otherwise, the target is struck for 4-12 points of damage.
Finally, the beast has the ability to breath out a cloud of Chlorine Gas as per a Green Dragon.
These creatures are hated particularly by Lizard men, whom it views as a delicacy.
